Meet Grace

Hi, I’m Grace, a psychologist and the founder of Wavelength Psychology & Outdoor Therapy.

I’m a pretty relaxed and down-to-earth psychologist, and I believe that feeling comfortable with the person you’re talking to is one of the most important parts of therapy. I work mainly with adults experiencing trauma and PTSD, anxiety, stress and burnout, and neurodivergence, including ADHD.

I’m particularly passionate about trauma therapy and finding new and effective ways to help people work through difficult experiences. I love learning about how our brains and bodies respond to trauma, and I’m always interested in approaches that go beyond simply sitting in a room and talking. My work draws on evidence-based therapies including EMDR, ACT and CBT, while also considering things like movement, environment and connection.

That connection with the outdoors has been part of my life for a long time. Before becoming a psychologist, I studied marine biology and worked as a SCUBA instructor on the Great Barrier Reef. I’ve always loved being outside and around the ocean. Wavelength grew from wanting to bring those two parts of my life together and offer therapy in a way that feels a little more flexible and human.
